Manufacturing

The synthesis of classic and modern metal processing techniques is very suitable for making non-conventional slugs of materials and shapes previously unseen in the hunting ammunition industry. The D Dupleks slug ammunition production process consists of many stages, from slug body lathe-machining and thermal treatment to their encasing in plastics. The last automated process is shotshell loading and packaging. All stages of production are fully automated, thus eliminating manual labor and possible human mistakes.

Compared to classic lead slug manufacturing, steel ammunition production is much more sophisticated and time-consuming process, reflected in 5-7 times higher production costs. To make ammunition retail prices acceptable to hunters, the high production costs are minimized by almost full automation of the production process. For steel slug production, non-standard equipment is needed; it is made by D Dupleks specialists themselves. The highly automated and productive machinery is unified into a production cycle where every operation is electronically controlled. This ensures production uniformity, high productivity and constant high quality. By making environment-friendly ammunition, the company has adapted its production process to ecological standards. Therefore, environment is protected and ecologically friendly products are distributed.
